Starting Friday, November 8th, I will be holding a two-person exhibition titled "Beneath the Thin Veil" with the artist Momo Yamanishi at "Oka_no," located in Ōokayama, Meguro Ward. Yamanishi will be exhibiting her photography-based works, and I plan to display five new sculptures. We hope to create a space where the extremely thin veil, which subtly appears and disappears in the gap between our works, gently draws you in. If you're in the area, we would be grateful if you could stop by. Thank you for your support.

11/8(金)より、目黒区大岡山にある「岡の」にて、美術家・山西ももさんとの二人展「薄膜を潜る」を開催致します。山西さんは写真を主体とした作品を、私は新作の彫刻5点を展示する予定です。作品のあわいに見え隠れする極薄の膜に、静かに沈み込むような空間を作れたらと思います。お近くに起こしの際はお立ち寄りいただければ幸いです。よろしくお願いいたします。

 My solo exhibition "Within" at "Oka_no" in Ookayama, Meguro-ku, Tokyo, starting on November 23 (Thu., holiday).In the space expanded by the renovating of the store, I plan to exhibit works including unpublished works and new works.

​

For this exhibition, I have asked Yusuke Kabuki of the cafe "Kabuki" in Torigoe, Taito-ku, Tokyo, with whom we collaborated in the previous exhibition two years ago, and Yuri Miyauchi, a musician with whom I have a close relationship, to cooperate in creating works for this exhibition space.Details will be announced later.

​

This will be the last exhibition of the year, so if you are able to make it, I would appreciate it if you could come and visit there. I look forward to seeing you there.

​

11月23日(木・祝)より、目黒区大岡山にある「岡の」にて、個展「Within」を開催いたします。店舗の改装によって拡張した空間で、未発表の作品や新作を含め展示する予定です。

​

また本展では、台東区鳥越の喫茶「蕪木」の蕪木祐介氏と、普段より親交のある音楽家・宮内優里氏にお声がけをし、お二方それぞれに、今回の展示空間のための作品制作にご協力いただきました。

​

なお、年内の展示はこちらが最後になりますので、ご都合が合いましたら足をお運びいただけたら幸いです。よろしくお願い致します。

 Three of my works, including new works, will be exhibited in the to group exhibition "Geidai no kabe Inside/Outside" at the geidai art plaza of the Tokyo University of the Arts starting on January 7. In this exhibition, a new framed work using lacquer and silver powder, and a series of works combining fragmented body and wood as structure will also be on display. I hope you will stop by if you are in the neighborhood. Thank you very much.

 Yuri Miyauchi's 7th album "Beta" will be released digitally on January 28th. I have created a sculpture and worked on the artwork for the album.

 I am very happy to be involved in this way with a work that has a fresh sound that swims between artifice and randomness, and a nostalgic yet new view.

 1月28日にデジタルリリースされる宮内優里さんの新しいアルバム「Beta」。この度、アルバムのアートワークのための作品を制作させていただきました。 作為と無作為の間を泳ぐような瑞々しい音たちと、懐しくも新しい景色を持った作品に、このような形で関われたことをとても幸せに思います。

Works created in 2020-2021 have been added to the "Recent Works" section of my website.

2020年から2021年にかけて制作した作品を、HPの【Recent works】追加しました。

To coincide with my solo exhibition at "Okano" starting on Friday the 12th, I made special chocolates for the exhibition with Yusuke Kabuki, the owner of “Kabuki”, a coffee shop in Kuramae, Tokyo. I was in charge of making the model of the chocolate.

​

As a sculptor, I am very happy to be involved in the time spent tasting Mr. Kabuki's chocolates and the space they create. I hope you enjoy the exhibition as much as I do.

​

11月12日(金)から「岡の」で始まる個展に合わせて、東京・蔵前にある喫茶「蕪木」の店主・蕪木祐介さんと、展示のための特別なチョコレートを作りました。僕はチョコレートの原型制作を担当させていただいております。

​

蕪木さんのチョコレートを味わう時間やそれらが作り出す空間に、彫刻家としてこのような形で関われたことをとても幸せに思います。展示と合わせこちらもお楽しみいただければ幸いです。

A work collection “Mirror” will be sold at each exhibition venue from October 14th. Also included in the collection is a CD of songs that Yuri Miyauchi（www.miyauchiyuri.com） produced for this exhibition space.

The book was designed by Hiromi Sato (www.kyassaba.net), kyassaba collage design. A part of the shooting location is APOLOGIA (www.apologia.jp).

 

本展に合わせ制作した作品集「Mirror」を10月14日から各展示会場にて販売いたします。また、作品集には宮内優里さん（www.miyauchiyuri.com）が今回の展示空間に合わせて制作した楽曲のCDも付属します。本のデザインをキャッサバコラージュデザインの佐藤洋美さん（www.kyassaba.net）、撮影の一部をAPOLOGIA（www.apologia.jp）で行っております。
